

When the Joker also crashes the show, a four-way brawl ensues until the Joker snatches Robin, forcing Batman to give chase. Seeing Harley getting beaten up on TV, Ivy arrives to save her, but even with her chlorokinesis, Batman overpowers them both. Elsewhere, Joker sees the footage and is angry that Batman is occupied with Harley instead of his ongoing bank robbery. Still live on Tawny's show, Batman fights Harley for endangering his "ward".

King breaks free from his tank, and is only subdued by the timely arrival of Robin's father, Batman. The blood falls into the water and triggers King Shark into going berserk (he'd previously told Clayface and Psycho he doesn't "do well around blood"), forcing Harley to get the Boy Wonder out of harm's way. Robin's nose starts to bleed from the humiliation. Harley triggers Robin into gloating about his lies, at which point she reveals they are on the set of Tawny Young's show, and the media was listening the whole time. Harley's fury is compounded by the famous reporter Lois Lane calling her a setback to the "evil women's movement." In response, Harley kidnaps Lois to get Superman as a nemesis, plus to coerce Lois into retracting the article.

The crew set up an online profile to find a nemesis, but have no luck, so Clayface enlists help of friendly but physically-daunting computer whiz King Shark. At the same time, Ivy complains that Harley's crew is messing up her apartment, though her landlord, Sy Borgman, arrives and re-asserts the apartment is his and that he has rules.

Poison Ivy notes that they should keep a low profile if they don't want to go to jail, but Harley wants the media (and by extension, the Legion of Doom), to notice her, and decides she needs an A-list nemesis.

Harley and her crew have been successfully robbing for some time, but never show up on the news because everyone is focusing on the sensational antics of Joker and Batman. In search of a nemesis, Harley goes after Batman, but ends up with an adolescent Robin, making her the laughing stock of the criminal underworld.
